The AMXL (Extra Large) delivery network is a specialized, elite division dedicated to transporting the heaviest, bulkiest items in our catalog—ranging from massive sectional sofas and 85-inch televisions to heavy kitchen appliances and exercise equipment. When you join an AMXL DSP driving team, you are taking on a highly respected role within the supply chain. About the Role: The Heavy-Haul Duo

As an AMXL DSP Delivery Driver, you are never working alone. This is a highly collaborative, team-oriented role where you will be paired with a dedicated Delivery Helper every single day. Operating a massive 16-foot to 26-foot commercial box truck equipped with a hydraulic liftgate, you and your partner will navigate urban and suburban routes to deliver heavy and bulky goods directly to the customer's threshold, or right into their living room (room of choice delivery). This role goes far beyond simple drop-off logistics; it requires white-glove hospitality. You will be responsible for unboxing massive items, conducting basic assembly, and ensuring the customer is completely satisfied with their major purchase. This job demands intense physical strength and perfect team communication.

A Day in the Life of an AMXL Driver

Your morning begins at a specialized AMXL delivery station. You meet your assigned Delivery Helper and attend a safety briefing focusing specifically on ergonomic team-lifting techniques. You conduct a thorough pre-trip inspection of your box truck, ensuring the air brakes and hydraulic liftgate are functioning flawlessly. Inside the warehouse, you and your helper use heavy-duty appliance dollies to load massive items into the back of the truck, securing them tightly with ratchet straps. Once on the route, you rely on the routing app to guide you. Upon arriving at a customer's home, you safely park the massive truck, lower the liftgate, and unstrap a 250-pound treadmill. Communicating constantly with your partner, you navigate the item up a flight of porch stairs, through the front door, and carefully into the customer's home gym. You capture the digital signature, receive a massive thank you from the customer, and head to the next heavy-haul stop.

Comprehensive Duties & Responsibilities

• Commercial Box Truck Operation: Safely pilot a large, non-CDL commercial box truck through complex residential streets. You must utilize expert mirror-checking and backing skills, constantly relying on your helper to act as a ground spotter.
• Extreme Team Lifting: Execute the highly physical demands of AMXL delivery. You and your partner will constantly lift, push, pull, and maneuver oversized items weighing anywhere from 50 to 300 pounds, utilizing specialized equipment like appliance dollies and shoulder straps.
• White-Glove Customer Service: Provide an elite, premium customer experience. You will frequently enter customers' homes, requiring you to wear protective shoe booties, navigate tight hallways without causing property damage, and interact with supreme professionalism.
• Assembly & Installation: Frequently unbox large items, remove the dunnage from the customer's home, and perform basic assembly (e.g., screwing legs onto a sofa or plugging in a washing machine).
• Hydraulic Equipment Management: Safely operate the truck's hydraulic liftgate to raise and lower massive freight, ensuring absolute adherence to pinch-point and crush-hazard safety protocols.

Basic Qualifications

Must be exactly 21 years of age or older to operate large commercial box trucks under federal guidelines. Must possess a valid state driver's license with a remarkably clean, safe driving record. Must successfully pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and possess a valid DOT Medical Card. Exceptional, elite physical strength and stamina are absolute requirements; you must be capable of team-lifting items weighing up to 300 pounds and maneuvering heavy dollies up flights of stairs.
