Master the Weekend Rush: Dedicated Saturday/Sunday Driver
Saturday and Sunday are the undisputed peak days for residential shopping and deliveries. Families are home, and the logistics network experiences its highest volume of orders outside of the holiday season. We are actively partnering with Delivery Service Partners to seek highly energetic, motivated individuals to join the fleet as a Weekend DSP Driver. This role is perfectly tailored for students, teachers, or 9-to-5 professionals looking to secure a lucrative secondary income without disrupting their weekday schedules. Among part-time driving jobs, this is the ultimate side hustle elevated to a professional level, offering massive earning potential, company-provided vehicles, and extreme independence on the open road.
About the Role: The Weekend Warrior
As a Weekend DSP Driver, you are the linchpin of our peak operational days. You will operate a modern, company-branded delivery van equipped with the latest telematics and safety features. Your sole focus will be executing dense, high-volume delivery routes exclusively on Saturdays and Sundays. Because weekend customers are frequently home, you will experience higher levels of direct customer interaction, requiring a friendly and professional demeanor at all times.
A Day in the Life on a Saturday Route
Your weekend shift starts with high energy at the local staging facility. The loading bays are buzzing. You grab your keys, perform a quick digital vehicle inspection on your provided smartphone, and pull up to the loading dock. You efficiently scan and load dozens of totes—packed with everything from electronics to heavy dog food—into your van, organizing them by stop. You hit the road on a beautiful Saturday morning. The weekend traffic is lighter, allowing you to cruise through your route seamlessly. You pull up to houses, safely executing hundreds of drops. By the end of your shift, you return the van, clock out, and enjoy the rest of your weekend with a significantly heavier wallet.
Comprehensive Duties & Responsibilities
- High-Volume Execution: Execute dense, multi-stop delivery routes efficiently during the peak weekend surge.
- Safety & Vehicle Mastery: Safely operate a large commercial delivery van through residential neighborhoods filled with weekend pedestrian traffic, children playing, and parked cars. Strictly adhere to zero-tolerance safety protocols.
- Customer Service Excellence: Capitalize on the fact that weekend customers are home. Provide warm, professional greetings, follow precise delivery instructions, and act as a smiling brand ambassador.
- Technology Utilization: Flawlessly operate the delivery app for turn-by-turn navigation, digital barcode scanning, and photographic proof-of-delivery uploads.
Industry-Leading Total Rewards
Your weekend hustle is rewarded with elite benefits and a reliable monthly pay structure:
- Premium Monthly Income: Earn a highly competitive monthly salary based on your weekend shifts, frequently boosted by weekend shift differentials that elevate your base pay specifically for working Saturday and Sunday.
- Company Van & Fuel: Drive DSP vehicles. We cover all insurance, maintenance, and gas. You just show up and drive.
- Healthcare & PTO: Eligible part-time weekend drivers gain access to excellent medical insurance options and accrue Paid Time Off (PTO) to use when you need a break.
Basic Qualifications
Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid state driver's license. Impeccable driving record required. Must pass a rigorous motor vehicle background check. Must have absolute availability to work full shifts on Saturdays and Sundays. Exceptional physical stamina is required to walk, bend, climb stairs, and repetitively lift heavy packages (up to 50 lbs) throughout the entire shift.
