This role is strictly dedicated to "drop and hook" freight—meaning you will experience 100% no-touch operations. You will never waste your night sweeping out a trailer or arguing with a forklift driver on a loading dock. Your sole mission is the safe, uninterrupted highway transport of sealed trailers. A Day in the Life of an Overnight Linehaul Driver

Your "day" begins at 8:00 PM. You arrive at the quiet, secure Amazon truck yard, clocking in as the sun sets. You locate your assigned Day Cab tractor, which is equipped with advanced LED night-vision headlights and forward-collision radar. You execute a meticulous, DOT-compliant pre-trip inspection using your digital tablet.
